Here at Hickory Grove Baptist Chuch, we strive to make a difference in young people's lives. We realize that our youth hold the keys to our future.
They enjoy regular activities such as Sunday School and Wednesday night service as well as Youth Sundays. Youth Sunday is a special Sunday service where the youth take charge. They lead the service with singing, memorization of Bible verses, testimonies, and preaching.
Hickory Grove also provides a youth activities. This is a time for the youth leaders to show the youth that they can have a good time while being a Christian. The activities promote good Christian fun, devotion, and fellowship. We feel that this is a good way to reach out to the youth and introduce them to our Saviour if they do not know Him. The adult and youth interaction also helps to install Christian values and morals that help the youth to grow spiritually.
They also build relationships with others that will last a lifetime. The youth are encouraged to take part in other church programs. Our youth department hopes to make a change in young people's lives, strengthen their families, build the church and impact the world through Christ.
